Learn About our new "non-event"!

As a result of cancelling our annual Quiz Bowl due to the pandemic, we are asking supporters to join us for an online team fundraising non-event. Participants can start their own teams to help with the effort, donate on behalf of a friend's team or donate to the non-event's general goal. Teams and donors also have the opportunity to win prizes!

The Details

June 1 - June 30, 2020

Stay safe at home on your computers and "participate" in our virtual fundraising Quarantine Bowl.

Teams

Join with friends, family or co-workers to create a team to help with the fundraising effort. By doing so you will get an individual link to share with friends and when they donate, your totals will be tallied together toward your goal. You can add photos and information about your team and why you are motivated to support the Beacon of Life.

Prizes

Prizes will be awarded to the teams that raise the most. You can have as many members on your team as you want, but team prizes are limited to 8 people for next year's Quiz Bowl.

1st Place: A team registration for Quiz Bowl 2021!

2nd Place: $100 off a team registration for Quiz Bowl 2021!

3rd Place: $50 off a team registration for Quiz Bowl 2021!

Donors are also entered into a weekly drawing announced on our Facebook event page every Monday. Prizes will include gift cards to local eating establishments: Angry Goldfish, Barntown Brewery, Fong's, Pour Choices, and Aposto.

Donations

Donations can be made through a team or to the Quarantine Bowl's general goal. You can read about the teams on their individual pages.
