check to The Beacon at 1717 Woodland Ave, Des Moines, IA 50309 or donate online with your
Paypal account.
 

Our Needs List--Daily Operations - we will gladly take these donations:
Garbage bags (#8,#30,#60 Gallon)
Pot roast, hamburger, Luncheon meats, chicken
Coffee, Large tea bags, Powdered Coffee Creamer
Butter & margarine
Microwave popcorn
Cold cereal, Juice, Eggs
Cheese (sliced/shredded)
Paper Towels, Tissues
Carpet Cleaner, Laundry Detergent, Bleach, Disinfectants
Bed Pillows, gently used bath towels

We CANNOT accept your donations of used clothing. We lack the staff and storage needed to sort
and distribute clothing. We recommend that clothing be donated to Bidwell Riverside, Catholic
Charities or Hope Ministries. These are agencies where our residents obtain free clothing.
